Your whole outbound, one chat

Every step you used to do across five tabs, you now ask for in plain English. Claude does the work inside your AutoMailer account.

  1. 1

    Find leads

Describe who you sell to. Claude turns it into Lead Finder filters, shows you a free preview, and saves the list once you approve the credits.

    Lead Finder
YouFind 200 heads of sales at US SaaS companies with 50 to 200 employees.
ClaudeHere's a free preview of the first matches. Save 200 leads for 200 credits?
  2. 2

    Research your contacts

Claude reads each contact's role, company and details, then writes a first line that only fits that person.

    Personal first lines
YouWrite a personal first line for each of these 200 contacts.
ClaudeDone. Each line is saved as a field you can drop into any email.
  3. 3

    Write targeted copy

Give Claude your offer. It writes a short, plain sequence for that exact audience and runs every email through the spam word checker.

    Sequences + spam check
YouWrite a 3-step sequence offering a free pipeline audit. Keep it short.
Claude3 emails written, no spam words flagged. Saved as a draft campaign.
  4. 4

    Send your campaign

Claude picks mailboxes that are connected and warmed up, sets your schedule, and launches only when you confirm.

    Healthy mailboxes only
YouSend from our healthy mailboxes on weekdays, 9am to 3pm. Launch it.
ClaudeSchedule set. Confirm you want to launch US SaaS sales leaders?
  5. 5

    Track and improve

Ask how it's going. Claude reads your numbers, flags bounces, and tells you what to change next.

    Reports
YouHow did my campaigns do this week?
ClaudeReplies are up. One campaign is bouncing over 3%. Want me to pause it?

You stay in control

Claude can't send or spend without you

These guards are built into the AutoMailer connection, so they apply to every request.

Drafts first

Every campaign Claude creates is saved as a draft for you to review.

Launch needs your OK

A campaign only starts when Claude confirms its exact name with you.

Credits need a yes

Claude asks before saving leads that use credits. A retry never charges twice.

Off anytime

Delete your API key and the connection stops working right away.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Once AutoMailer is connected, Claude can use 48 actions inside your account: search Lead Finder, save lists, update contacts, write and spam-check emails, create campaigns, check mailboxes and read your analytics. You ask in plain English and approve the steps that spend credits or send email.

An AutoMailer account on a paid plan, because the connection uses an API key and API keys are included on paid plans. You also need Claude, Claude Code or Codex. Setup takes three steps: create a key, add the connector, start asking.

No. Every campaign Claude creates is saved as a draft. Launching is refused unless Claude passes the campaign's exact name and an explicit confirmation from you. You can also review and launch drafts yourself inside AutoMailer.

Claude uses your AutoMailer account like you would. Saving leads from Lead Finder uses 1 credit per saved lead, and Claude asks you to approve the amount first. Writing emails, checking mailboxes and reading reports don't use credits.

No. Once connected, you can just ask. Skills are optional: free instruction files that give Claude a proven step-by-step method for bigger jobs. You can download all 20 from this page.

Delete the API key in AutoMailer under Settings, API Keys. The connection stops working right away.

Run your next campaign from a chat

# Run outbound from one prompt

You run a full outbound campaign inside Automailer for the user, using the Automailer MCP tools.
If no Automailer tools are available, stop and tell the user to connect Automailer first:

## Before you start, confirm the brief in one message

Restate, as a short list: who to target, how many leads, what the offer is, and the call to action.
If the offer or the target is missing, ask for it. Ask once, then work.

## Steps

1. **Plan.** Show the user a numbered plan (find leads, build list, check mailboxes, write emails, create draft). Keep going unless they object.
2. **Find leads.** Call `lead_finder_filter_schema`, then `lead_finder_suggest_filter_values` for job titles, industries and locations so every value matches exactly. Run `lead_finder_search` (free) and show the total match count and 5 sample rows (name, title, company).
3. **Get approval to spend.** Call `lead_finder_credits`. Tell the user: "Saving N leads costs up to N credits. You have M." Wait for a clear yes.
4. **Build the list.** Call `lead_finder_build` with `mode: "search"`, the filters, `count`, a clear `list_name`, `confirm: true` and `max_credits` equal to the approved number. Poll `lead_finder_get_build` (wait 3s, then 10s, then 30s between polls) until it is completed, failed or canceled. Never start a second build while one is running; check `lead_finder_list_builds` first.
5. **Pick mailboxes.** Call `list_email_accounts`. Use only accounts that are active, have warmup on, and pass DNS. If tags exist (`list_email_account_tags`), prefer selecting by tag. Tell the user which mailboxes you chose and why any were left out.
6. **Write the emails.** Three steps sent on day 0, day 3 and day 7 (`days`: 0, 3, 4, since each step counts from the one before). Plain text, under 90 words each, one idea per email, one question as the call to action, no links in step 1. Use `{FirstName}` and fields from the list. Follow-ups have no subject so they thread.
7. **Spam check.** Run `check_spam` on every step and variant. Rewrite anything that scores above 30 and check it again.
8. **Create the draft.** Call `create_campaign` with the list, mailboxes, the 3 steps, a weekday schedule in the leads' time zone, `stop_on_reply: true` and `unsubscribe_link: true`.
9. **Report.** One short summary: list name and size, credits used, mailboxes, the three subject lines, spam scores, and the campaign name. Say it is a draft.

## Rules

- Never call `activate_campaign`. If the user then says "launch it", restate the campaign name and recipient count, get a yes, and only then call `activate_campaign` with the exact `campaign_name` and `confirm_send: true`.
- Never spend Lead Finder credits without a yes that names the amount.
- If any step fails, say what failed and stop. Do not guess around errors.

# Build a lead list from your ideal customer

Turn the user's description of who they sell to into Lead Finder filters, preview for free,
then save the leads into an Automailer contact list. If no Automailer tools are available,
tell the user to connect Automailer first: https://automailer.io/claude-mcp#connect

## Steps

1. Call `lead_finder_filter_schema` to see the filters. Never invent filter keys.
2. For job titles, industries, locations and technologies, call `lead_finder_suggest_filter_values` and use the values it returns, not your own spelling.
3. Set `max_person_per_company` to 3 unless the user asks otherwise, so one big company does not fill the list.
4. Run `lead_finder_search`. It is free. Show: total matches, and a table of 10 sample leads (name, title, company, location). Ask if the sample looks right.
5. If the sample is off, adjust the filters and search again. Explain each change in one line.
6. When the user is happy, call `lead_finder_credits` and say: "Saving N leads costs up to N credits. You have M. Go?"
7. On a yes, call `lead_finder_build` with `mode: "search"`, the filters, `count: N`, a descriptive `list_name`, `confirm: true` and `max_credits: N`. Leave `with_phone` false unless the user asked for phone numbers (they cost 10 credits each).
8. Poll `lead_finder_get_build` with growing waits (3s, 10s, 30s). If it is still running after a few minutes, tell the user it is still running and how to check later. Never re-issue the build; a second call is a second paid build.
9. Report: list name, leads saved, credits used, credits left.

## Rules

- No spend without a yes that names the number of credits.
- Leads the workspace already owns are free; say so if the build shows it.
- If a filter is rejected because of the plan, tell the user which filter and that a higher plan unlocks it.

## Steps

1. Clean the company list: strip `https://`, `www.` and paths, drop duplicates. Up to 500 companies per search; split bigger lists into batches.
2. Ask which roles to target if the user did not say. Suggest 2 or 3 titles that usually own the problem the user solves.
3. Call `lead_finder_filter_schema`. Use the company name or website filter for the domains, the job title filter (values from `lead_finder_suggest_filter_values`) and `max_person_per_company` of 1 or 2.
4. Run `lead_finder_search`. Report how many of the target companies returned at least one person, and list companies with no match so the user can try other titles.
5. Call `lead_finder_credits`, state the cost (1 credit per saved lead), and wait for a yes.
6. Call `lead_finder_build` with `mode: "search"`, `confirm: true`, `max_credits` equal to the approved count and a clear `list_name`. Poll `lead_finder_get_build` until it finishes.
7. Report: companies covered, people saved, credits used, and the companies still missing.

2. Run `lead_finder_search` (free). Show the match count and 10 sample leads.
3. Call `lead_finder_credits`, state the cost, wait for a yes, then `lead_finder_build` with `confirm: true` and `max_credits`. Poll `lead_finder_get_build` until it finishes.
4. Write 2 steps. Step 1: congratulate them in one line, then one sentence on the problem new people in that role usually inherit, then a soft question. Step 2 (day 4): one useful idea, no pitch, no subject so it threads. Plain text, under 70 words each.
5. Run `check_spam` on both steps. Rewrite anything above 30.
6. Call `list_email_accounts`, pick active mailboxes with warmup on, and create the campaign with `create_campaign` (it is always a draft). Use `stop_on_reply: true`.
7. Report the list, the credits used, the two emails and the draft name.

# Find companies hiring for the job you help with

If no Automailer tools are available, tell the user to connect Automailer first:
https://automailer.io/claude-mcp#connect

## Steps

1. Ask the user which open role signals a need for what they sell, if it is not clear. Example: an agency that books meetings looks for companies hiring SDRs.
2. Call `lead_finder_filter_schema` and use the hiring for (job postings) filter with those titles. Add the role of the person to contact (usually the manager of that hire) with values from `lead_finder_suggest_filter_values`.
3. Set `max_person_per_company` to 1 or 2. Run `lead_finder_search` (free) and show the total and 10 samples.
4. Call `lead_finder_credits`, state the cost, wait for a yes, then `lead_finder_build` with `confirm: true` and `max_credits`. Poll `lead_finder_get_build`.
5. Report the list and credits used. When writing emails for this list, mention the open role in one line, never more.

## Rules

- The hiring filter needs a Starter plan or higher. If it is rejected, say so.
- No spend without a yes that names the number of credits.

# Clean a CSV and upload it as a list

If no Automailer tools are available, tell the user to connect Automailer first:

## Steps

1. Read the file. Report the row count and the columns you found.
2. Map columns: email, first name, last name. Every other useful column (company, title, city, a custom note) becomes a custom field. Use short names without spaces, for example `company` or `job_title`.
3. Clean:
   - trim spaces, lowercase emails, fix name casing ("JOHN" becomes "John")
   - drop rows with no email or an invalid email
   - drop duplicate emails (keep the most complete row)
   - flag role addresses (info@, sales@, support@, admin@) and ask whether to keep them
4. Check the do-not-contact list: call `list_exclusions` (page through it) and drop any email or domain that matches.
5. Show a before and after: rows in, rows removed by reason, rows to upload.
6. Call `create_contact_list` (or use an existing list if the user named one; find it with `list_contact_lists`).
7. Upload with `add_contacts_bulk`, up to 10,000 contacts per call, `on_duplicate: "update"`.
8. Report the list name, contacts added, and the merge tokens now available, such as `{company}`.

## Rules

- Never upload contacts the user said to exclude.
- Automailer verifies uploaded contacts in the app. Do not tell the user an email is valid just because it looks valid.

## Steps

1. Collect what to block. Ask about the usual groups if the user only gave one: current customers, competitors, partners, investors, past unsubscribes.
2. Decide the type per entry: a full address becomes `type: "email"`, a company becomes `type: "domain"` (strip `https://`, `www.` and paths).
3. Never block a shared mailbox provider as a domain (gmail.com, outlook.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com and similar). Block those addresses one by one instead, and tell the user why.
4. Call `add_exclusions_bulk` with up to 5,000 entries per call. Existing entries are skipped automatically.
5. Report how many were added and how many already existed.

## Rules

- To remove an entry, find it with `list_exclusions` and call `delete_exclusion`. Confirm with the user before removing anything.

2. Work in batches of up to 50 contacts per run, so the user can check quality before you continue.
3. For each contact, write one line of 8 to 20 words using only the data you have (title, company, industry, location, custom fields). No flattery, no "I hope this finds you well", no made-up facts. If the data is too thin for a real line, use a plain line about their role instead.
4. Show the first 10 lines and ask if the tone is right before saving.
5. Save each line with `update_contact`, `custom_fields: { "first_line": "..." }`. Custom fields merge, so other fields stay.
6. Tell the user to start step 1 of the email with `{first_line}`, or offer to update their campaign with `update_campaign`.

## Rules

- Never invent facts about a person or company.
- For lists bigger than a few hundred contacts, say this is slow in a chat and suggest doing it in batches.

## Before writing

Get four things: who it is for (the list), the offer, one proof point (a result, a client, a number), and the call to action. Ask once for anything missing.

## How to write

- Plain text. 50 to 90 words per email. One idea per email.
- Step 1: why them, the problem, the offer, one question. No links, no images.
- Step 2 (day 3): a new angle or the proof point. No subject, so it threads under step 1.
- Step 3 (day 7): short, easy to answer ("Worth a look, or not a priority?"). No subject.
- Use `{FirstName}` and list fields such as `{company}` only if the list has them. Check with `list_contacts` on 3 contacts.
- Avoid hype words, all caps, exclamation marks and fake urgency.

## Steps

1. Find the list with `list_contact_lists`.
2. Write the 3 steps and show them to the user.
3. Run `check_spam` on each step. Rewrite anything that scores above 30 and check again. Show the final scores.
4. Pick sending mailboxes: `list_email_accounts`, active with warmup on. Or use a tag from `list_email_account_tags`.
5. Call `create_campaign` with the list, mailboxes, steps (`days`: 0, 3, 4), a weekday schedule in the recipients' time zone, `stop_on_reply: true` and `unsubscribe_link: true`.
6. Report the campaign name and tell the user it is a draft they can launch from Automailer.

## Rules

- Never call `activate_campaign` unless the user explicitly asks to launch and confirms the exact campaign name.

## Steps

1. Find the campaign with `list_campaigns` (status `draft` or `paused`) and read it with `get_campaign`.
2. Check each item and mark it PASS, WARN or FAIL:
   - **List:** `get_contact_list` has contacts, and bad contacts are a small share of the total.
   - **Mailboxes:** every sending account from `list_email_accounts` is active, has warmup on and passes DNS.
   - **Volume:** daily sending limits across the mailboxes can cover the list in a reasonable number of days. Say how many.
   - **Schedule:** weekdays, business hours, a time zone that matches the recipients.
   - **Copy:** `check_spam` on every step and variant. Over 30 is a WARN, over 60 a FAIL.
   - **Settings:** unsubscribe link on, stop on reply on, follow-ups have no subject (so they thread).
3. Show the checklist as a table. For every WARN or FAIL, give the fix in one line, and offer to apply copy or setting fixes with `update_campaign`.
4. Only if the user asks to launch: restate the exact campaign name and how many contacts it will email, wait for a yes, then call `activate_campaign` with the exact `campaign_name` and `confirm_send: true`.

## Rules

- Never launch with a FAIL on mailboxes or spam score unless the user overrides it in writing.
Write and launch

## Set up a test

1. Read the campaign with `get_campaign`. Note step 1's subject and body.
2. Write 2 new subject lines that test one idea each (for example a question vs a plain statement). 2 to 6 words, lowercase is fine, no spam words.
3. Run `check_spam` on each variant (subject plus body).
4. Call `update_campaign` with the full `sequences` array: keep every step as it is and add `ab_variants` to step 1. Passing `sequences` replaces the whole sequence, so copy every existing step exactly.
5. If the campaign is active, the tool needs `confirm_edit_running: true`. Ask the user first, and never reorder or remove steps on a running campaign.

## Read the results

1. Call `get_analytics` with `group_by: "variant"`, `interval: "total"`, the campaign id, and measures `sent`, `replies`, `interested`.
2. Show a table: variant, sent, replies, reply rate, interested.
3. Only call a winner when each variant has at least 200 sends and the gap is clear. Otherwise say "not enough data yet" and when to check again.

## Rules

- Judge on replies and interested replies, not opens.

1. Call `list_email_accounts` (100 per page, page through all of them).
2. For each mailbox, note: active or not, warmup on or off, DNS status, daily limit, tags.
3. Call `get_analytics` with `group_by: "mailbox"`, `interval: "total"` for the last 14 days and measures `sent`, `bounced`, `replies`, `auto_replies`.
4. Flag problems:
   - **Fix now:** not active (disconnected), DNS failing, bounce rate over 3%.
   - **Watch:** warmup off on a mailbox that sends campaigns, no sends in 14 days, auto replies falling to zero while sends stay flat (that can mean mail is landing in spam, since out-of-office replies only fire from the inbox).
5. Show a summary first (X mailboxes, Y need attention), then a table with only the flagged mailboxes and one fix each.

## Rules

- This skill only reads. Do not pause campaigns or change mailboxes unless the user asks.

# Group your mailboxes with tags

If no Automailer tools are available, tell the user to connect Automailer first:
https://automailer.io/claude-mcp#connect

## Steps

1. Call `list_email_accounts` (page through all) and `list_email_account_tags`.
2. Propose a grouping (by sending domain, provider, client or warmup stage). Show which mailboxes go in each tag and wait for an OK.
3. Create missing tags with `create_email_account_tag`.
4. Assign with `assign_email_account_tags`, `mode: "append"` so existing tags stay.
5. If the user wants a campaign to send from a tag, call `update_campaign` with `sending_account_tag_ids`. If the campaign is active, this needs `confirm_edit_running: true`; ask first.
6. Report the tags and how many mailboxes each has.

## Rules

- `mode: "replace"` removes all other tags from those mailboxes, and `delete_email_account_tag` affects every campaign using that tag. Confirm before either.

Pause campaigns that bounce too much

High bounces burn your domains. Your agent finds any campaign over your limit, shows the numbers, and pauses it when you say so.

# Pause campaigns that bounce too much

If no Automailer tools are available, tell the user to connect Automailer first:
https://automailer.io/claude-mcp#connect

## Steps

1. Use the user's threshold, or 3% if they did not give one.
2. Call `list_campaigns` with `status: "active"`.
3. Call `get_analytics` with `group_by: "campaign"`, `interval: "total"`, measures `sent`, `bounced`, `bounced_hard` for the last 7 days and those campaign ids.
4. Compute bounce rate = bounced / sent. Ignore campaigns with under 100 sends (too few to judge) but list them.
5. Show a table of campaigns over the threshold: name, sent, bounced, bounce rate.
6. Ask: "Pause these N campaigns?" On a yes, call `pause_campaign` for each and confirm.
7. Suggest next steps: clean the list, check the source of the leads, and turn on `auto_pause_on_bounce` with `bounce_pause_threshold` via `update_campaign` so it happens automatically next time.

## Rules

- Never pause without a yes. Never resume a campaign in this skill.

# Write a weekly outbound report

If no Automailer tools are available, tell the user to connect Automailer first:
https://automailer.io/claude-mcp#connect

## Steps

1. Call `get_current_workspace` for the workspace name and time zone.
2. Call `get_analytics` with `interval: "week"` covering the last 2 full weeks (weeks start Monday), no grouping, for the totals.
3. Call `get_analytics` with `group_by: "campaign"`, `interval: "total"` for last week.
4. Work out rates: reply rate = replies / sent, interested rate = interested / sent, bounce rate = bounced / sent.

## Write the report

- **Headline:** one sentence with the main result ("12 interested replies from 4,310 emails, up from 7").
- **Numbers table:** this week vs last week for sent, replies, interested, bounce rate.
- **Campaigns:** the best 3 by interested replies and any campaign with a bounce rate over 3%.
- **Next steps:** at most 3, each tied to a number in the report.

## Rules

- Use only numbers from the tools. Never estimate or round in a way that changes the story.
- Keep it under 250 words unless the user asks for more.

# Find out why a campaign isn't getting replies

If no Automailer tools are available, tell the user to connect Automailer first:
https://automailer.io/claude-mcp#connect

## Steps

1. Read the campaign with `get_campaign`.
2. Pull the numbers with `get_analytics` for the campaign (last 30 days, `interval: "total"`):
   - `group_by: "step"`: where replies come from.
   - `group_by: "variant"`: if there are A/B variants.
   - `group_by: "mailbox"` and `group_by: "sending_domain"`: whether one sender drags the rest down.
3. Work through the causes in this order and stop at the first one the data supports:
   - **List quality:** bounce rate over 3% means a bad list. Fix the list first.
   - **Deliverability:** auto replies per sent near zero, or much lower on some mailboxes or domains than others, suggests spam placement. Out-of-office replies only fire when the email reached the inbox. Check those mailboxes with `list_email_accounts` (warmup, DNS).
   - **Copy:** if deliverability looks fine, run `check_spam` on each step and read the copy: is step 1 about them, short, with one clear question?
   - **Targeting:** fine delivery and fine copy but no interest points to the wrong audience or offer.
4. Report: the most likely cause, the numbers behind it, and 3 fixes in order. Offer to apply copy fixes with `update_campaign`.

## Rules

- Say how sure you are. With under 500 sends, most rates are noise; say so.
- Do not pause or edit anything unless the user asks.
